For payments for purchases made at our online shop, we accept PayPal (VISA, Mastercard, DISCOVERY, AMEX), cheques, and bank money orders in Canadian or US dollars. You will have the option to select a payment method during the checkout process.

TAXES: BC orders are charged HST (12%). Orders shipped to other parts of Canada pay either GST (5%) only or HST according to the tax regulations and rates of the province or territory shipped to. US orders are not charged GST or HST (however, US government or customs may charge you additional taxes or duties which are usually collected upon delivery by the shipping company or invoiced to you by the customs agency)
*Gift vouchers are not charged taxes.
*Workshops/classes are charged 12% BC HST regardless of where the student comes from because they take place in BC, Canada.

Returns

Due to our vast inventory, the plant that you order may not be the exact plant pictured in this website. However we guarantee that the bonsai you will receive will be of equal or greater value than the one shown in the picture.

Due to the fact that our bonsai are live plants, we do not accept returns. In a case that the bonsai is damaged during shipping, the plant must be returned within 3 days of arrival of plant.

If you are returning an item because it is damaged or we shipped the wrong product, Japan Bonsai will either replace your product or provide a partial refund. Please call us at +1 604.536.9220 (Mon - Fri between 9AM - 5PM Pacific Time) to obtain a RETURN NUMBER. Note that you must notify us within 24 hours of arrival if the plant was damaged or was not the one ordered. Please do not return a product until you have contacted us.
