Workshop The
workshop was held in May 2002 and was a great success. Nakayama and several of
his students came to North America for a series of workshops on Satsuki Azaleas.
Imported Satsuki material was and still is available to all participants. Some
participants of the workshop brought their own material.  
The
workshop was held at Japan Bonsai in May 2002.
 
The demonstration here was on the proper wiring of Satsuki. The flexibility of
Satsuki branches is shown - the branch will not break if bent in the same direction
as the natural bend of the branch.
